MiniCOW’s First run to Saratoga Wyoming. Great fun, Great Folks, Great Weather, Great Food.

MINI COW Run to Saratoga Aug 24th Saturday

I wanted to wait till Mini’s in the Mountains was done before posting this. Mini Coopers of Wyoming and N. Colorado (MiniCOW.org)  is going to have a Mini run from Cheyenne to Saratoga and back.

We will meet at the Cheyenne McDonalds on I-25 at 0915 and leave at 0930. We will head to Saratoga via Happy Jack a 2.5hr drive. We are planning a stop near Lake Marie, and then lunch will be at a great restaurant in Hotel Wolf in Saratoga, we will then run back the north way using Hwy 287 and going through Rock River, Wy a 3hr drive.

Notes:
*McDonalds is next to the Flying J Truckstop. Just a few miles north of the Colorado/Wyoming boarder on the west side. You can grab something to eat and get gas here.
*Bring your FRS radios and tune to Channel  7 Sub 21.
*It will be 2.5 hours there and 3 hours back plus any stops.

While I have never been to Mini’s in the Mountains, a know a lot of people who have, and say it is great. They have a bunch of neat rides planned, so take a look. Registration closes Sunday the 21st of July.

It was a great first meetup for MiniCow 8 cars and 11 people. Not bad for a first meetup. Thanks everyone for showing up.

We talked by our cars, then we went into eat and talked about our cars, then we went back out and…. talked about our cars. For 2.5 hours, we talked and had fun. Thanks all.

We have been a busy couple the last month or so since we started Mini COW (Coopers of Wyoming.. and North Colorado), and it doesn’t look like it is going to slow down anytime soon.

So we decided we should get Mini COW Mooooving forward, no matter how busy we all are. We want to start out slow, and just have a social event, to get to know everyone, and see what folks would like to do in the club.

We have a date: July 9th, it is a Tuesday evening, with all the weekends full, we had to start somewhere.
We have a time: 6pm

Sorry I have been out of town this last month so we didn’t get very far with the club. We are currently planning our first even, which will be a social in Cheyenne. More info will be coming out.
